    Default SCIFI & ITS INFLUENCE

have sci fi films, be it Star Wars or Saturn 3 or Andromeda Strain, had an impact on your studio work ? the sound & atmos you employ ? the other worldly sounds ?

ive always been a fan of such films & can def say they have had an affect on my work..

for example, the main title to PRECINT13 is one of my fave pieces of electronic music ever.. from the moment i saw that movie aged 7 it has always moved me.

    anyhoo, jus wondering

remind me of that movie again - the name seems familiar (not from the label of the same name though)

Big time Space 2001 is a class film concerning sound, music, atmosphere, ect.
Blade runner too that film is techno and Assault on Precinct 13 (there doing a remake by the way)has some awsome synthy music.
Also horror films are a big thing to me return of the living dead has some top electronic music.Texas Chainsaw massacres overall vibe-filthy, dirty, glitchy, rotting, grimy, twisted, filthyfilthyfilthyfilthyfilthyfilthy err Im getting carried away now
