    Default Writing Audio CD's

I just tried to copy an audio cd to my hard disk and no software will play or copy audio cds anymore.

I recently installed a new sound card and Audiophile and knew I wouldnt be able to play cd's from the drive as there is no multimedia connection to the soundcard but i dont see any reason why I shouldnt be able to copy the audio from cd to harddisk and then burn to another cd, does anybdy know why??

    Thanks

Dont copy the audio data to your hard drive, if u want to copy an audio CD just get something like Nero or winoncd and do a normal disc copy, it will copy the audio to your hard drive as an image file in a temp folder then when u insert a black cd it will copy the image onto that cd.
