    Blue Cat's Stereo Chorus

Based on Blue Cat's Chorus technology, Blue Cat's Stereo Chorus has the same versatility and crystal-clear sounding capabilities as its little brother, plus a subtle to very deep stereo effect feature: just play with the 'stereo' control and get this famous widening stereo chorus effect. You will feel like the sound is turning around your head.

The built-in Blue Cat's skinning engine enables you to skin this plug-in: adapt the user interface to your needs and customize the look of your Blue Cat's plugin! 3 skins are included in the install package. This web sites offers you to download more skins or learn how to create new ones. It's all free!

The 'Smooth Update' mechanism will let you enjoy continuous mono to stereo transitions without any audible 'click' or 'plop' : automation support is smooth and precise.

New! You can now control this plug-in with an external MIDI controller thanks to the included advanced MIDI CC mapping support.

A step by step tutorial is now available to learn how to use the new advanced MIDI control features (it's within Cakewalk Sonar but it's applicable to other hosts as well):

    Blue Cat's Chorus

The Chorus effect was originally designed to simulate several voices: just as if several persons were playing together the same notes but with a variable delay between them. This is the effect you get with Blue Cat's Chorus when setting the rate parameter to a small value. But this plug-in also enables you to drastically change your sound and produce strange pitch modulation or crazy 'bubbles' effects. Just check the factory presets to get convinced by the quality and versatility of Blue Cat's Chorus.

From a light ensemble effect to a deep destructive modulation effect, Blue Cat's Chorus just can do anything... For free!

This version is a mono effect, which means that you will get the same effect on left and right sides of your audio signal. You may also want to check the Stereo Chorus effect.

    RockstarFX Earwiring

Earwring is a ring modulator controlled by three phase distortion oscillators and one LFO. Depending on the pitch, this can go from a gently oscillating tremelos to fuzzy, synth-like freak-outs. An optional harsh fuzz can be added to the signal before modulation. Mixed with the dry input signal and fed into an amp simulator, Ear Wring can add some meat to your guitar tone.

    RockstarFX Oscimaker

uses patented RockstarFX technology: Every time the user presses a key, randomizers change the shape of each oscillator at 31 points along each waveform. The user can choose between a soft triangle-like oscillator or a sharper square-like one. This is the only version of Oscimaker that I could salvage after reformatting my computer, but it's a good one. This was the latest beta, tested by vurt, Sickle, TotcProductions, Meffy, and other trustworthy members of KVR who found no problems.

    Mr. Mono

"So simple it's stupid, this VST just takes a stereo signal, mixes it together, and spits the mono-ized mix back out. It seems like there has to be something like this already out there, but I couldn't find it, and making my own was quicker than looking."

Preparation P is a VSTi collection of 61 high quality prepared piano samples. All of these samples were recorded by Tom Gersic on a baby-grand piano, and include a variety of strummed strings, plucked strings, and many other sounds of various objects lodged in the strings. Each sample can be tuned individually, and you can also adjust the attack, decay, sustain, and release characteristics of the sound by using the envelope controls. Preparation P is free, but you're welcome to make a donation if you like by following the paypal link.

    Voxengo Overtone GEQ

This is a 7-band harmonic (overtone) graphic equalizer with multi-channel support (up to 8 channels, host setup dependent, if you are using audio host application supporting VST version below 2.3 only 2 plug-in channels will be available).

Overtone GEQ implements graphic equalizing by using a serie of bell-shaped EQ curves. So, when you boost adjacent bands the actual boost or cut may go over the visual setting. Beside equalizing, Overtone GEQ applies harmonic enhancement processing. That is why Overtone GEQ is comparably CPU-heavy: it uses 7 harmonic enhancement modules, one for each EQ band. This generates quite complex harmonic distortion.
