    AriesVerb

    AriesVerb is a Reverb plug-in based on a highly configurable fractional delay design. The alpha version uses the hosts default GUI.

    When used conservatively as a room simulator, this plugin can do smooth reverbs with a lively and present sound. In addition, this plugin can do more than just room simulation. Most parameters can be adjusted over a wide range of many orders of magnitude. The fractional delay design allows for phasing effects in the microseconds (µs) range, even below the actual sampling rate used. The delay length modulation can be adjusted in depth and speed, where the modulation speed may be so high that FM like effects are possible. The package is completed with an overdrive distortion inside the feedback loop for that extra crunchy edge.

    Features:

    * Fractional delay effect-reverb plugin.
    * 13 geometry configurations.
    * 8 × 2 feedback configurations.
    * Base delay time (room size): 0.00001 s (3.3 mm) to 1 s (330 m).
    * Independent control of low and high-frequency decay.
    * Stereo rotation.
    * Delay length modulation.
    * Modulation period from 0.001 s (1 kHz) to 10 s (0.1 Hz) allows for flanger, phaser, rotor, and FM like effects.
    * Overdrive distortion inside the feedback loop for extra crunch.

    AriesVerb has been updated to v0.3.

    Changes:

    * More presets.
    * Better fractional-delay engine: can go down to 1 microsecond.
    * Better VST2.0 compliance.
    * Fixed a bug that could cause some hosts to deny parameter automation.

    Freeware TubeDriver plug-in (BETA INSIDE)

    "Check the new TubeDriver VST plug-in!
    It is a tube saturator designed to enrich the signal with warm tubey distortion. It's based on real tube cascade moddelling.
    Although this project is in initial phase yet and the TubDriver is being worked on to get the best approximation to "hardware" cascade, the results already are convincing as it seems to me.
    The plug-in has been developed by Nikolai "NickCrow" Voronin, an electronics engineer. It is free however if you like it and want to support the developer and this project you can donate any money to one of the web-money accounts quoted in Readme.doc file
    Feel free to post here your examples - dry and w(ph)et.
    Please leave also comments on bugs occured. "

    The Hahaha CS33

    The "son of Hahaha CS01"

    Whereas the CS01 is barely more than a synth-historical artefact, the CS33 builds on the concept and is quite a capable little synth even by today's standard. While it can do all sorts of "bread and butter" sounds, its signature sounds come from the PWM oscillator waveforms, twin linked filter modes and the built-in distortion effects.

    Soundspectral free OutMax

    "Just before, I needed a tool like this to quickly listen to the left or right channel in mono.
    But I wanted that each mono channel would play on both speakers.

    Since I needed such a tool a couple of times before,
    I decided that I will create MaxOut.

    Then like always, other ideas pops up in my head and I think that it would be
    nice to include those functions also.

    So I added limiter and maximiser.

    The idea was not to create a mastering tool,
    but an easy-to-use way to monitor the master channels.
    (Or any stereo channels)
    also protect the channels from clipping even if you go up to 100% over 0db.

    CPU consumption is around 0.5% here on my P4 2ghz PC.

    Please place the whole folder "Soundspectral" into your VST plug-ins folder.

    I hope you find this tool useful.

    Have fun and be creative,

    Rene"

    DualComp

    DualComp is a compressor utility plugin with a unique and warm sound, which is logarithmically calculated. In addition, DualComp has sidechaining capabilities, allowing an input signal (such as a kick drum) to "punch" through.

    To configure DualComp as a sidechain compressor, add it to the desired channel and then create a new channel with the signal for the sidechain input (usually a kick drum or something similar). Route this channel's output to ports 3/4 of DualComp on the primary channel. The sidechain signal will not be added to the output of the primary signal, so you should create a separate track for your kicks.

    Who

    Taking the original Theremin like Hooo plug that was occasionaly available and giving it a new lease of life. This plug is designed for experimentation and so has no presets but does have room to store 16 of your own. The pitch of the oscillator can be controlled by the keyboard, the modulation wheel or by the XY pad X- axis. The Y axis can be used to control a number of sources.. Beware this plug is bigger on the inside than the outside.

    SQ80-emulating VSTi available!

    The SQ8L is a software (VST) model of Ensoniq's classic 1980s
    synth SQ80. The SQ80 features 3 digital wavetable oscillators
    for each of its 8 voices which are fed through analog 4-pole
    lowpass filters (-24dB gain) with resonance. Sound parameters can
    be modulated by 4 envelopes, 3 LFOs and several MIDI sources.
    The SQ80 also has a predecessor, the ESQ1, which can do most of
    the same stuff.
    Although the technology may seem obsolete, these synths can
    produce a wide variety of interesting and extremely usable sounds.
    Thanks to the lo-fi oscillators and the analog components it can
    sound very digital and dirty, but also very analog and warm.
    Which is a good thing because modern synths often tend to sound
    rather clean. Now you can experience this great classic synth
    with the SQ8L!

    Simple-Media has released Super Spook Keys, the successor of the Virtual ‘Theramin’ Spook Keys.
    Designed to re-create the sound of a 'Theramin' and offering control either using a MIDI keyboard or using the mouse to drag the glowing spot across the 'chart' for more authentic 'Theramin' style play. Added a "spring" button & extra shape and noise controls to the original "Spook Keys".

    This one is awesome!

    whats livetweaker ?

    " Livetweaker is a new vst instrument, gathering in a single plugin one 12 slots drumsampler, one drumsynth, and a monophonic synth.Conceived with live use in mind, the idea is to have 3 instruments on one single track for quick & easy tweaking using a midi controller.
    The second idea is to avoid sterile repetition of the same thing in including various random features. So, you can reach subtles variations on a snare's pitch, a cymbal's decay, or simulate the osc pitch instability of an

    old analogue synth, but you can also turn your pattern into something totally different after each repetition. Livetweaker aims at keeping things both simple, quick & easy to use, all along with deep user customizable features for more sonic control."

    livetweaker is donationware
    so donate a little if you can ;)
