The last one (ABS3) is requires Pluggo Runtime btw

    This one also:

The LSS DJeq is an equalizer plugin designed specifically to emulate the controls found
    on the best DJ mixers.
It features three rotary controls for Low, Mid and High frequencies and dedicated Kill
switches. The interface is optimized for live performance, with large buttons and knobs
easy to read and grab even with a laptop track-pad.
The EQ range has been specifically designed to allow for traditional DJ use, with a range
that goes from complete cut to + 6dB.

While the plugin might work in other VST-compatible hosts, the LSS DJeq is the result of
user feedback from the Ableton Live courses at the London School of Sound, and as
such it was meant only as a plugin for Ableton Live.

Requires Pluggo's runtime library 3.6.1 or higher (free download).

    UpStereo

    A FREE stereo enhancer.
    * Loudness control enables a complex saturator to boost your
    mixes.
    * Stereo width slider going from mono to wide, bringing the
stereo image out and towards the listener.
    * Subtle Air & Bass boosters to lift and help the audio
    'breath'.
    * Very low CPU usage.
    * FREE!

    What is it?
UpStereo is a simple, useful tool - it makes your mixes bigger, in stereo width and loudness.
    Using three basic basic systems:
    1. A fixed frequency EQ designed to lift the highest audio frequencies, and boost the bass.
    2. A stereo width unit, for expanding stereo sounds so they appear wider and fatter. At extreme levels other characteristics are also brought out of the sound, so this can also be used as a tonal control for individual instruments. This also has a mono setting, useful for squashing up those aggressive samples that take over the mix.
    3. A loudness button that raises the waveform to the limits in a smooth curve. This saturation gives the mix a more perceived loudness, without clipping.

These stages create an overall loudness effect on the final output, so a gain control is included to keep the limits in check.

The main 'bubble' display on the plug-in is really a basic meter, when one of the stereo halves flash white, then the output is in danger of being clipped. Try and keep the levels so the white flashes only occasionally, this enables the loudness saturator to work at it's best.

    Rescue

Rescue is part of a small series of signal modelling VST fx and is released as freeware.
Rescue features decent gain and transient mechanics applied straight forward to m/s encoding. Some decent non-linear signal couloration is given as well.
For further features and overall handling please check the manual. Use the presets for inspiration but don't take them to serious - u will have to tweak your own like with EQ or Comp.

Requirements: PC only, VST compatible host und SSE compatible CPU. Basic m/s understanding.

    Elevayta Wide Boy

Wide Boy is a stereo enhancer insert and mastering effect. Unlike most other stereo enhancers, Wide Boy uses the fact that low frequencies are less directional than higher frequencies. By separating out the two frequency bands, and selectively applying different processing to Bass and Treble, Wide Boy realizes a wider stereo sound without losing the punch of the bass. The parameter range and flexibility also provides the possibility to generate a number of interesting additional effects.

    Features
    • 'Spatial Delay' up to 66 m (now expressed in metres).
    • Selective widening of two spectral partitions.
    • User control over spectral partitioning via 'Spectral Pivot'.
    • In V1.15 I have made further improvements and optimizations in the algorithm.
    • Independent control of Bass spatial position and gain.
    • 5 Presets.
    System Requirements
    • Windows 98 or any later Windows OS.
    • About 1 MB of harddisk space.
    • 1+ GHz processor.
    • Audio application supporting VST plug-ins.
Important: This plug-in is NOT compatible with Elevayta VST Rak.

Two nice synths for some oldschool techno action

    TAL-BassLine

TAL-BassLine is a virtal analog bass synthesizer especially made for bass, acid sounds and effects. It’s based on a robust core and has the usual controls of analogue hardware synthesizers.

A unique -18dB low pass filter with a lot of asymmetric and random components introduce a warm and analogue sound. Very fast, non linear envelopes are also a part of this synth.
    • Bandlinited oscillators (saw, pulse).
    • Sub-oscillator: square -1 oct., square -2 oct., pulse -1 oct, pulse -2 oct.
    • -18 dB/octave low-pass filter (resonant/self-oscillating).
    • LFO (frequency: 0,1 .. 30 Hz, waveforms: sin, tri, saw, rec, noise).
    • Very fast nonlinear envelope (A: 1.5ms..4s, D: 2ms..10s, S: 0..100%, R: 2ms..10s).

bent is a circuit-bent resynthesis effect. It will recreate the incoming audio into an approximation of itself using a waveform-morphing audio oscillator. Depending on the volume and pitch of the audio, it will gate, stutter and morph the output in sync with your host tempo

    controls
jitter - this controls the probability of the tempo-sync gating
morph - this controls the probability of the tempo-sync osc waveform morphing
grain - this controls the depth of the tempo-sync granulator effect

    Mac only:

The plugin could be named "audio copy-paster" or "snippet looper", but I choose to call it InstantSampler because it does what a simple 'normal' sampler does (playing audio fragments by MIDI notes), but it takes its samples (instantly) from the audio input whenever you hit a specific MIDI note for the first time. Every consecutive time you hit the same MIDI-note, it plays back the recorded fragment (or shorter, depending on the note's length).

So, is this plugin an instrument (as the name 'sampler' might suggest), or an effect? Technically, it is an effect, but one that is controlled using MIDI. But, in Logic for instance, it can be considered to be an instrument, played with MIDI, and having an audio side-chain input. The bottomline is, that it needs both audio - and MIDI input!

When you play the sampled fragments, you have the possibility to vary the following:
    velocity - Playback volume.
attack and release - Both attack & release times are configurable.
floor - The level of the input audio which is passed along unaffected when no samples are played.
playback speed - Speed up or - down the sample playback using the pitchbend control with a configurable range.
reverse playback - Playback in reverse ... this might sound a bit tricky at first, so look at the figure first (you might get it right away).

You can specify the 'reverse (velocity) range' (let's call it R), which splits the velocity scale into two parts: 0 ... R, and R+1 ... 127. If a note is played with a velocity in the lower range, then the note is played in reverse, but with the applied velocity that goes from 0 to 127 with R mapped to 127. If the velocity is in the higher range, it is played in normal order, also with a range from 0 to 127, but with R+1 mapped to 0.
clear memory - Assign a MIDI note that (when played) just clears all samples recorded so far. This is useful if you have a 'copy-paste phrase' programmed in a MIDI region, and want to reuse it at more than 1 place in your music. Just start or end your phrase with the 'clear memory note', and the second time the phrase is playing, it will record the input audio again.
This is also handy when using the InstantSampler plugin in a live setting, in case you want to clear the samples you took so far (assign it to the lowest key on your keyboard, for example).

    Vocov2.00

Major Version-up to 2.00 VOCOV2 is now Digital/Analog Hybrid Vocoder. It has two completely different vocoding engines and work simultaneously. FFT based Digital vocoder engine can create clear speech and FilterBanked Analog vocoder engine is more rough robotic sounds.
built-in synth is now has VCF and AR Envelope. envelope is not so important for vocoding but the carrier can be select as a output by output mixer.
in addition, reverb effect is added to effect section.
** Note: patch is not compatible with ver 1.xx
    ------------------------
    Vocov2 is a VSTi Vocoder.
Internal 2OSC synth can be used for carrier.
upto 4 .wav files or an another audio track signal can be used for modulator by VOCOVCapture.dll ( used as a VST Effect) . VOCOV2 will automatically connect to VOCOVCapture.
    ***** SSE CPU needed *****

How to Use 1. Simple usage (if modulator source is not so long wav file)
Load "VOCOV2.dll" to your host app as a VSTi.
Load .wav file to VOCOV2 VSTi and select.
(wav file should be a LPCM/ 8 or 16 bits format)
You can control VOCOV2 as a synth via MIDI track.
    2. Advanced usage (you can use a audio track as a modulator source)
Prepare audio track for modulator & midi track for carrier control.
Load "VOCOV2.dll" to your host app as a VSTi controlled by MIDI track.
    Insert "VOCOVCapture.dll" to audio track.
Select VSTi's modulator source to "from VOCOV Capture".
VOCOVCapture.dll can be load upto 4 instance. you should select diffent channel
for each VOCOVCapture, and you can select which modulator use by select a CH on VOCOV.dll
    3. More complicated usage (carrier from another VSTi)
You should prepare carrier VSTi and MIDI track.
Insert VOCOVCapture to the effect slot of the carrier VSTi
and select "Carrier from capture" on VOCOV2.
you can also select modulator signal from VOCOVCapture using another CH.
in this case, the MIDI track for VOCOV2 is functional only for Buffer freeze control.
    Specification
    • CARRIER Section
      • fromCapture: use signal from VOCOVCapture as a carrier. shold select CH (1-4). according to VOCOVCapture setting.
      • StereoCarrier: will affect only if you use "fromCapturee" carrier. it will vocode as a stereo signals. this setting will use more CPU, recommended if not needed.
      • followings are built-in synth settings. will not affect if you use "fromCapture".
      • Mono: Mono/Poly setting of built-in synth.
      • Glide: Portament control of built-in synth.
      • BendRng: bend range setting.
      • ETC: might popular as a 2OSC 1LFO synth.
    • MODULATOR Section
      • Upto 4 .WAV File can be load
      • modulator from VOCOVCapture (upto 4 CHs selectable)
      • buffer freeze on note
      • buffer size select
    • VOCODER Section
      • Follow: env-follower time of modulator audio. setting high will cause clear speech.
      • Shift: formant shift.
      • Mangle: mangle the formant. it will cause special effect (for Digital).
      • Bands: freq resolution. setting high will cause clear speech (for Analog).
    • EQ Section
      • 6 Bands EQ

    Clip-R

Clip-R is a stereo effect which allows you to trim/clip the ceiling (top) and floor (bottom) of any audio you put through it, it also features a boost control which happens before the clipping and can be used to distort the signal in combination with clipping. The left channel is shown in green and the right in red, the clipping level is show in black and this lets you see exactly what is happening to the signal. The effect works well on basses and basic waveforms like a saw etc and can change the shape.
