    DualComp is in alpha testing, and may be unstable.

    From it's homepage:

    To configure DualComp as a sidechain compressor, add it to the desired channel and then create a new channel with the signal for the sidechain input (usually a kick drum or something similar). Route this channel's output to ports 3/4 of DualComp on the primary channel. The sidechain signal will not be added to the output of the primary signal, so you should create a separate track for your kicks.

    Sample configuration of DualComp in Ableton Live:

    "I've decided to start releasing stuff I've been messing about with while farting around in SynthEdit. Here is my first release, it's definitely beta and will certainly be updated. It is a three band bit-crusher/down-sampler with level and mute controls for each band and adjustable crossover points.
    Any feedback is welcome. Enjoy."

    FreqAnalyst

    Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst is a frequency analyzer that lets you monitor the spectral content of your audio signal in real time. It has been designed to provide extreme smoothness and high resolution for both time and frequency: unlike most spectrum analyzers, Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst is able to display continuous variations even with a very high frequency resolution, thanks to its unique smooth interpolation algorithms.

    Most aspects of the audio to frequency display conversion can be managed, which lets you total control over the monitoring. A special thresholding system has been developed to help you see the important parts of the spectrum easily. In case you need extra precision in a particular frequency range, you can zoom the display and check the part of the graph you are interested in.

    As shown in the screenshots, you can use the new opacity management feature to make the plug-in window transparent and see what is behind: forget about your multiple display setup, you do not need it anymore! You can now check the spectrum of your mix and see your audio tracks behind. This feature is also particularly useful when you want to compare the spectrum of two tracks: just stack your two FreqAnalyst windows and see the difference!

    This plug-in supports Blue Cat's skinning language, so that you can customize the user interface to your personal needs.

    Main Features

    * Mono and stereo real time spectrum analyzer.
    * Total control over the audio to frequencies tranformation.
    * Smart interpolation algorithm for extreme display smoothness.
    * Zoomable display.
    * The user interface can be made transparent.
    * Custom absolute and relative threshold.

    Blue Cat Audio Standards:

    * Native DSP code for optimal performance.
    * Skinnable user interface.
    * DirectX and VST plug-in formats support.
    * Smooth Update: silent (zipper-free) parameters update.
    * Full automation support (all parameters can be automated, with smooth and continuous update)
    * Real time MIDI control with advanced settings (MIDI channel and CC numbers, with complete response curve control) and MIDI learn.
    * Any sample rate supported.

    Cheapo tone is a recreation of the famous calculator synth, though this one doesn't calculate.

    All the sounds are synthesized, and there is absolutely no sample inside.
