Crazy..most people i know who have labels won't accept MP3s. Not even high quality 256+ ones.

im running a new label so i like to encourage the enthusiasts. i wouldnt ask someone to go thru the bother of mailing in a cd without having an idea of what they are up to.

also quick downloads of mp3's let me run the demo thru Traktor with my labels other material to see if the submission is a decent fit.

That's good you are doing that. I wish more labels would. It would save me the trouble of sending out CDs if i don't have to=o] But my stuff doesn't fit with most labels anyway=o]

we used to promote parties. i can't tell you how many dj mix cds we received that didn't have any contact info.
