Mackie Control Universal = a waste of money??

anyone use this thing?

it sure looks nice and other than the automated faders i dont see it being very much different than a UC-33.

If i do buy it, i will be mainly using it to control the faders in my Cubase mixer....

anyone know if using this has actually improved their mixing?

Im still debating on whether to get this or buy a Jomox drum machine

wow that looks like a monster of a surface controller....i dont know if i'll be able to fit that into the studio but i will definately look into the "FW" series of the controllers as well./
