    Default licence for net radio?

ok this has been bugging me for a while, i want to broadcast an internet techno radio show. (to promote my brand name localy) and submit mixes on my site from DJs playing at my events.

it seems to me that if i make sure theres a tracklisting for every set and every track played, its fair and good promotion for all.

is this enough or, am i gonna get bitten in the arse by some hefty organisation...

i've asked friends but i just seem to get people saying "naa don't worry as long as you don't play tracks in thier entirety you should be alright"

    "should" doesn't ease my paranoia

    any advice much appreciated...

you still need to be registered to PRS (or an accronym simular to that). sadly you cant publicly play music for free unless it is your own music.

legally speeking of cause, but i must admit pirate radio stations are about the only side of copywrite infringment i dont object to

    haha hello man
didnt ask me ;) could have told u that

go with pirate or register for a broadcasting license with the prs
to be honest if your radio shows are technically recorded already then you may be able to cast them off as mixes....
