Ableton Live 4.1 + Operator Synth

Ableton has just released Live 4.1 free to all registered Live 4 users.

There is now a new synth though that looks pretty sick indeed (feature wise)... they want $150 for it though :/

Gonna have to give it a whirl myself before I spend that kinda cash on a soft synth.

Holy shit CPU friendly my ass.. I just tried the demo of this bitch... with one instance loaded it doesn't take up but 1% cpu.
As soon as I hit play on a little 1bar sequence - 50%!!!!!!

This is on an 800MHz Powerbook G4

Yikes. Even my Korg plugins don't do that!

Gonna have to see how bad it rapes my 1.7GHz PC at home.

Alright.. it must've been that one preset because most of the rest of them are much more reasonable... 4-12% cpu.

Gonna have a nice tinkering when I get home. Looks like it has some excellent features ;)
