Default Berettamusic Presents: Ryski - Two Sides to Every Story EP

Big Release! Ryski (BerettaMusic/Colorecordings) comes out with his first EP on his own label with 4 great tracks ranging from funky Italian sounds to deep techy west coast grooves. “Harvard Notion” is rough and funky with solid percussion lines and great synth stabs that create a bouncy infectious groove. Philip Braunstein (G-Force/Superbra/Dark House) lays down a brilliant remix, adding his own sweeping hats, great bassline and slick vocal sample that lift the track into a peak time Italian-esque monster! On the flip, Ryski shows his housier flare with “Kingston Rain” which has a deep techy house groove with a huge reggae guitar synth that weaves in and out of filters and clever edits; This track has been getting hammered as of late by many of the big names! “Falling Stars” is a peak time techy disco-infused stormer, with hard percussion that filters up and bursts at the seems with energy; which sums up an excellent EP that has huge cross over potential!
