got a 12" 1GHZ with superdrive. now i'm after logic, but i want version 6 as i can;t be arsed to upgrade OSX to 10.3, and i'm used to version 6 of Logic.

can anyone recomend a sound card/midi interface preferably with 4 or 6 in, 2 or more out, 1x1 midi I/O

    I know.. just curious..

Looks like you may be after one of those emagic interfaces... they have pretty much the exact specs you want.

I use the Tascam. works great as an audio/midi interface. Problem is that if you have any hardware at all and want to record multiple tracks from the gear at the same time into Logic. the us-122 is a no go. It can only record one audio channel at a time.
It is pretty damn cheap to for the sound quality

I guess saying it only has one in/one out is a better way to describe it.
