    Default IRQ conflicts

Anyone know how to re-assign the IRQ's of your PC hardware if having a conflict? Other than moving the physical hardware from it current port???

Are they plug and play? I would just uninstall the hardware and let windows pick them up again.

I'm not sure I was just asking for a friend because he had asked me. I'm ok with hardware, but whenever I have an IRQ conflict I usually physically re-install that object in another slot.

Ok, heres a few things that ive found out...

Apparently, only the 2 top slots have the same IRQ, so if he's having conflicts between those slots, then its probably best to move on of them to the 3rd or 4th slot down.

And here is an intresting thread i found that might be of use - http://www.techspot.com/vb/archive/index/t-4116.html

Hope you can sort it bud...
