another good way and i love this way....

wire whatever loop ur usin through a Malstrom in reason.... ull b amazed!! especially if u flick through the patches

ull only get a response from the 2 filters, the distortion and modulator B. tempo sync the filter control in modulator B and mess with the rate and waveforms.

the distortion will give u a nice crunchiness

    a simple pattern:

    www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~clubbers/hat.mp3

the same patter wired thru a malstrom with the 'snare' patch from reason factory sound back (basically alot of noise dist):

    www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~clubbers/hat_crunch.mp3

the distortion taken off and the filter control set up high and a sine waveform:

    www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~clubbers/hat_filt.mp3

Is that sort of what you're after with the highs? It's not completely ringing but I couldn't be **** messing up the track anymore :D
that's close. OK, mess about some more and see if I can achieve my goal.

Had some luck messign about with shtuff last night. I'll post up the (now complete) track as soon as I find a place to host it, and get some of you good people's feedback.

Cheers for all the advice, and keep it coming, this n00b needs all he can get :)
