    how important is the bass!!!

i think that question should answer itself, i don't think it would go down well if you played a set of bassless tracks....

i've heard some mighty mighty mighty big kicks in jump and they are soo desperate to placed just before an evil bassline - jump really feels like it's missing that something the off beat bass provides from it's tracks.....
forget the jump, s'all about the bounce ;)

a bassline is really important in a track but i wouldnt go as far as saying i dont like that bassline so i dont like that tune, some tunes are really good and dont have such a good bassline

    anyone agree?

I would never buy a tune, just because it has a good bassline, but if it had a bassline I didnt like....I wouldnt by it. I hate it when I hear a good track, but it has a crap bassline, or the bassline isnt strong enough.

    :)
