This is a slammin piece of work. sumptuously dark. Reminds me of a DJ Kraft mix I loved and lost. Not a big fan of the synth acid riff but I do like the stmospherics and the overall mood of this track. Haven't heard anything like it for a while. Reminds me of the stuff I used to want to write beofre I cheered up.

You still have a lot to do with the mix.
    It's not really EQ'ed properly.

The bass synth is overwelming the kickdrum and the hihats.
And the volume of the ride is too hard.
    OUT NOW:

    - Cybernetics EP on Labrynth (Beatport release)

I like this, spooky doom techno.

    Production needs work.

There is distortion in the bass, that could be solved by sidechaining the bass to the kick, and maybe taking down the overall level on the master.

There`s a gap right in the middle of the mid range that could be filled, maybe a grungy but simple percussion loop would do it?

The ride is also too high in the mix

This is very simple, but effective, soundtrack-like techno.

Please post a more polished version when you do it.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

this is just my initial mix, i plan to master it properly within in the next week or two. I need to wait till a day the neighbour isn't in so i can get the volume up a bit.

What does everyone use for mastering?.

    Cheers.

    Joe.
