I got them like a year ago, used to have technics 1200 before. I really fell in love with the pdxs.

they are a lot stronger than technics, though they look kinda weird.

what do u guys think about them?

technically good sound decks, but they look awful, a real eye sore i think.

Personally I think the build quality really SUCKS. They are made of chipboard painted black and the sliders just feel cheap. A few years ago I thought Vestax was a good brand but after using he mixers in clubs you realise they can't take the sort of abuse from club life. The sliders end up crackling and the headphone amp is way too low. I also have never played in a club that uses Vestax decks so that must prove something.

Have you guys actually ever tried out a Vestax player??
cuz I really can´t believe that you think that technics are better , I had them before and they weren´t half as good as vestax (ok the built quality is probably better).
the technics motor ain´t comparible to vestax, even the newer reeloops are stronger than technics. the technics pitch is just awful.
    Technics are oldtimers

Technics maintain the better pitch stability over all other models... that's tha thing IMHO!

The simple fact is that technics are the best buy you can get for the money!!

They have been the industry standard for over twenty years now, see if you can tell me any other piece of equipment for anything that has a track record loke technics?

You buy a set of technics, spill beer on them, drop them, punch em, thrash em, scratch heavilly with them, stand on them(it happens!), and 15 years later they are still working pefectly!!!

Most other decks have a life expectancy of 6 years, and thats if you treat them with respect!!!

I have used the vestax, AND I DONT LIKE THEM!! They are too priecise, and i found them to be too cumbersome when scratching and beat jugling!!
