    Default MIX.

just recorded a mix, there before its about 50 mins long,, some new'ish stuff and some old,, its not hard style just hard trance.

seemed to go ok, there are 1 or two small mistakes but nothing major, all the beats are in 90% of the mixes. no basket balls. ;)

should i record it to PC and uplaod it? or should in be 100% perfect?
i never seem to be satisfide with most of the one's ive recorded cos i want it to be 100%,, but this is about 90% PLUS...

    hummm dunno.

i always hear all the mistakes in my mixes but im too lazy to bother trying again so i hand em out - then i hear it again a year or 2 later and think 'christ, this is good - how come i dont mix this well now?'

i generally never wanna give out a mix that isnt 100%, thats why i havn't posted anything yet lol. but if i was to give them to a few m8's then i wouldnt worry about the mistakes at all. Like as been said to most they wouldnt even recognise the mistakes, as its only picked up upon by us cus we done the mix and can remember all the little or big glitches.

upload it mate, you get fair rewiew via this forum. :D

i am never satisfied with any mix i have done, in my mind i could always have done better, what you think is 90 % someone else might think its top dollar :!: its worth posting to get feedback, most people on here mix to different levels and styles, some dont even mix, even if its really really bad (which i doubt) least you will know where to make improvments. you might get run over by a bus tomorrow ! what have you got to lose :D

I would imagine that the majority of people , no matter how good/ long they have been mixing would be 100% happy with a mix thats done live on 2 turntables

because you always look for the little things that could be better, to try and improve your skills ...

Ive come to the conclusion that it's impossible to do a mix without a mistake somewhere! heh! at least for me anyways!!!
I can mix for hours in my room or in a club without droppin a beat but as soon as I start recording I **** up and go into 'got my decks a week ago mode' but im like Stride, im too lazy to do it agian so just leave it!

Most people I give demo's do dont notice them tho, its mainly yourself or other dj's who notice them so **** it! ha!

hahaha so true!, its because sub-consciously you know you are recording, and when your thinking that to yourself, your not giving your mixing the 100% undevided attention it requires
