    Default [techno/techhouse] count out

    hi all. I'm a newbie. I like producing techno/techhouse/breakbeat/groovy house. Here's my latest techhouse track. A bit minimal but with a certain groove. I'm curious what you think of it!

    This is pretty well done overall.... nice punchy kick.
    The bass could use a nice boost though, and the offbeat hit could be turned down a bit, as well as the main synth.

    I also noticed from 3:00 during the break, the synth digitally clips a bit with a slight crackling at regular intervals.

    Give it some tweaks and post back the update ;)

    This forum needs more Tech-House!

    I'm liking this, head nodding, foot tapping...

    The bass drum is clipping a little, more compression.
    The deep bass needs to be a little more forward in the mix (volume or compression).

    Also you seem to have very little signal content over 15kHz, are you using 32kHz samples? Not a problem, just curious after I banged it through a Spectrum Analyser.

    202, 606, Alpha Juno, SIDstation, Freebass hed.

    @AcidMutant
    32 kHz? I have to look it up for you. I don't know.
