Default Not Techno 80's remix *when in Rome* "The Promise"

Ehhh my first shot at remixing an old tune. Definately not my normal thing... Maybe you'll like it though if you like any 80's tunes....

ha ha, wow someone did listen... Thanks Timo. I was just messing around with it really. I re-mastered it too the other day. So it sounds a bit cleaner in the mixdown now as well. Really I just did this to see if I could do that sort of thing....Thank you for listening.

I think I'd be very scared of the original track in it's original form and this is only slightly frightening so I think you've done well :)

me and my crew did a dodgy madonna track once a couple of years ago, someone put them out on white label, apparently they nearly all sold out of one gay record store in new york! so you never know ...

That sounds really cool, but I have no idea how I would go about doing that. Besides I also would need to money to press it. Although if I was not a broke ass, I'd probably do so.

If someone wants to press them, I'll spilt it with you!!!!

Solid production in my opinion. Impressive effort, I like the AFX style slices to the beats. Vocals enter unexpectedly and they are certainly a nice suprise. Not exactly my thing, but I'm sure people would play this if it where on white lable... Wouldnt sound out of place on a Orbital album, just...

those definitly are come cool vocal slices, they sound idm-ish even!!!....of course the original song is pretty cheezy heheh but good its a way to hone in on your remix skills.

i do plenty remixes myself too (as some of you have had to deal with in a live setting against your will  ) so i know its always important to GIVE EM WHAT THEY WANT from time to time.
