    Default New Mixer Advice

    Am due to come in for some compo @ the end of the month and after paying of debts etc and so on, ill be getting a new Mixer and a CD Deck.

    What am after is a good standard mixer say £200-300 tops..

    And then a CD Deck for about £150, i know its not alot but any ideas would be sound..

    Allen & Heath Xone 32 without question is the best mixer under 500 quid... Other than that, I'd recommend Vestax PCV-275 for a solid three channel mixer. Avoid those Behringer DJM imitations at all costs, they are absoloutely awful.

    1 of nicest mixers i've ever used.. although admitedly i dotn knwo a great deal bout mixers or mixing but it jus felt lush to use

    i love my xone32.. and to be honest.. you get totally used to
    the gains. i dont even think about it any more anyway.

    Seriously, Xone's are the best series of mixers ever made for the Club or even Bedroom enviroment. They are NOT bettered on sound quality or build quality, plus the filters are nice to use unlike those horrid DJM cheap effects. The 64 and 92 are very exspensive, but if you're going to pay 300 ish for a mixer, you should save extra 100 and make the Xone 32 the last mixer you ever buy, because they are that solid.

    i mixed on that mixer in a club a few weeks ago and didnt know was using the hi freqencey cut as gain i was wondering why the mix was comming in loud and then realised thanx alot the dj who was on before for tellling me
