I reckon they are gonna be actual synths not computer generated synth noises. Hmmmmm, maybe JP8000? I dunno, a guess.
i was wondering about that this morning actually funnily enough cos i wuz reading through some old 97 era Future Music magazines.....but then i spose the synths were probably even older..i dunno...
how ****ign useless has my post been so far??
heres a sample of the sound im trying to get
http://djtrancemission.users.btopenworld.com/sample2.rm
any help would be much appriciated.
haaaaa.. yes this old nostrum/edm sound..
it's a female choir voice sound. to be honest m8 i really don't know off the top of my head what an exact keyboard is.
maybe someone else out there has come across it??
most of the old sample based synths had a sound like that mate -try looking towards the trinity , wsa1, any old sampler :)
If you fiddle with the envelope settings, the Melotron Choir preset in Reason 1.0 (look in the sampler patches folder) sounds good if you add a good dose of delay and reverb.....sounds better if you harmonise in 3rds for that nostrum effect!
thanks for your help lads, i think ill go with the reason solution
is the Melotron Choir preset in any other soft synths? or just the reason pluggins, because i dont have reason yet, just using fruity to get started at the moment.
