Non-League Garforth Town ( Leeds suburb ) appear to have pulled off another amazing coup - with the club announcing that Brazilian icon Romario has agreed to play for them next season.
Garforth owner and manager Simon Clifford has already used his links with Brazilian football to cajole Socrates over to England, and it appears that one of the world's most famous players could now turn out for the Leeds-based club.
A statement on the club's website, www.garforthtown.com, read: "Garforth Town is delighted to announce that Brazilian legend Romario will be making the move to The Marston's Stadium for the 2005-06 season."
Clifford runs a soccer school in Brazil along with 500 similar ventures around the world and has become friendly with some major players in South American football.

hahahaha, i might start watching garforth nxt season. probably a much better prospect than watching the trash we have on display.
