Steiberg has this annoying Policy of Buy software and hardware from other houses and then renaming it... As if there wasn't enought names/ products out there already ...

Spectrasonics Stylus (vinyl groove module) is one bad ass program. So I am told, you get shit loads of sampled drums from breakbeaks (5 c.ds) and midi files to go with em. I think its like a Rex player. $299 VST MAC/PC MOTU, MAS, RTAS. Its deffinatly got to be good for techno with all those percussion sounds. hmmmmm shakers...

yeah johnny i have stylus. it rocks!!! just got atmosphere and trilogy last week.
atmosphere does synths and trilogy does bass
but stylus is still king. take a few thousand drum loops and have the ability to manipulate ever part of it.
it's like 5 sample cds with it's own vsti filter/manipulator that loads up so damn fast. it's hard to use anything else because you grow so impatiant. hence the reason i got atmosphere and trilogy too.
