i finally purchased new needles yesterday... I chose ortofon concorde DJ E..

the elliptical spahir has a better frenquency response than the spherical, but its a bit more expansive.... ANyways the needle was very cheap (69 €) on www.decks.de

The concorde Electro seems to have a really high output level, but worse frequency response... The nightclub ones seem to be very good but too pricey for me.


For the past 7 years i used to have stanton 500 AL MKII and they are excellent, they never failed and the never jumped with the same spahir for 7 years !!! totally amazing but iagree i have a quite poor sound quality after all these years and needed to change them.
