OUT THIS WEEK
After taking a short break the High Fish team are back with a vengeance! Coming back meaner, stronger, tougher and rougher, we present to you: XLR Project ‘Ending The War’ including Jon the Baptist’s remix.
XLR PROJECT: Original Mix
Written and produced by Michael Tsukerman.
XLR has been stirring things up in the trance scene of late, a guise nurtured under the Robert Gitelman group, who are responsible for such projects as G+M Project, 2 Players, Next Exit and Factor E. From his home country of Israel, XLR’s production value leaves nothing to be accounted for. His rolling brand of warm, crisp, harder edged trance has left many a dance floor drooling in excitement, and shivering in ecstasy. The political statements his tracks include add to the soul and emotion of his music, this is one artist to watch out for!
Ending The War is sure to receive a lot of airtime in coming months, already being picked up on internationally. The tracks layered harmonies make it a definite club anthem which is sure to appeal to a wide audience. With a deep, mysterious introduction which grows into extreme euphoria, it’s guaranteed to make the crowd go wild!
Jon the Baptist: Remix
Remix courtesy of Jon the Baptist a.k.a. John Collinson. Recorded @ High Fish Studio’s, Weymouth.
Jon the Baptists remix takes a slightly more uplifting route whilst still maintaining the toughness of the original. Jon’s style has developed greatly over the last few years and this production is in many peoples eye’s his finest work to date. Using dissimilar techniques on the vocal and extending upon some of the melodies, this mix is a sure success at the right time of the night.
