Cool edit pro. or cool edit 2000

audition is just CEP with Adobe plastered all over the place.

Also the waves, X-click, X-hum, X-noise, X-hiss are AMAZING at getting rid of naughties.

U definatly need 2 get read of it at the sample level.. in the finished track most of the time it's nearly impossible without loosing something else to !

Go back 2 yer samples and clean' em.

Sonic Foundry (Sony?) have a range of plugins some of which are amazing for Sound Forge. The Sonic Foundry Noise Reduction tool is just mind blowing the first time you use it

yeah, cool edit/adobe audition does a decent job, you can tweak the little parameters how you want to help you better

also using the waves x click/noise/crackle ones are good as well

thats right but i have to clean only the breakdown parts, so the whole track wouldn't lose the impact, though
