    just got mine from argos.

    19.98gbp.

    i maybe wrong but i think they are kinda the industry standard for topline monitor stands... mine cost me £100 give or take a few pence

    cool, i only have Fostex Pm1s so i think they shud be secure enuff. ;)

    Mine are made of breeze blocks. Cost 1 pound a block. Got some housing timber between 'em too to make a shelf, total cost about 8 quid a monitor stand and about 30 quid for the shelf (which is strong enough to hold two 24" widescreen CRTs) ... gotta be the best bit of budget studio furniture ever.

    Anyone know if and where you can get stubby, desktop speaker stands, my monitors currently sit on the desktop and are about 12" too low...

    richer sounds do them i think
