I was thinking later that I shouldn't have put that! What I meant was the the first file has been rendered at a higher resolution than that of the second.

So the first file has been rendered at 720 x 576 pixels (PAL DVDs) and I think the second was at 360 x 288.

The first file looks better full screen if that matters to you.
