On my latest demo ( which ill be dishing a few copys out on here shortly ) I recorded it strait onto my computer using cool edit pro 2.0. This way I could chop off bits at the end & begining to make it tidy. Also a good thing about cool edit is that you can maximise it, meaning that if the volumes are all over the place you can sort it. It also makes it sounds clean recording it straight onto a pc, you dont get loss transfering it across from md ect.
I think you could label it a studio recording if you have done more to it than record it strait onto cd from yer decks. But studio recording sounds better than bedroom mix, sounds way more professional
