It's called the Alesis AIR FX...



I liked it alot but



A) it was a pain to hook up to the mixer in a live club senario.

B) it broke on me twice during using it in a club (the second time it produced a really loud pop sound and i don't think the sound guy was too happy with me!)



sure, get one... but the allen and heath mixer is the daddy for that filter technique you're talking about.
