Right... i'm bored and no-one seems to be posting at the moment... and this is the only thing getting me through work at the moment... soooo.... IS ANYBODY GOING TO NORTH AT LAKOTA ON 15th NOVEMBER..............................

personally i'm looking forward to seeing Uberdruck... i've heard good things........

Yeah i'll be going, not gonna miss an event which is only half hour away from where i live. Uberdruck and the crow should be quality and I always look forward to M-Zone's set along with Ribbz and of course Mark EG.

haven`t been to north since 1999... is it still at the void? or just lakota now?

i think they stopped doing it at the void a while back... they now do it at the Emporium in Leicester and Lakota... definitely worth going to... i've loved all the Norths at Lakota and am looking forward to getting mangled at the next one... check out the lineup section at www.north-online.co.uk.... UBERDRUCK!!...m-zone..vortex...mark eg (never heard of him!)...ribbz....dolphin is always worth hearing in the 'hardcore techno' room... hope to see eveyone there!!

The venue of TRUE EVIL!

It's got such an atmosphere in there! As you go in they search ya for weapons! I found more groups of skin heads in corners in rooms and more hardcore techno beats hammering out at the 9pm reigon that I've ever heard anywhere!

I didn't find hell... I found heaven.

It's a great place, and the people were cool and the music is HARD. My sort of thing... just anoying distance factor for me when ya not driving.

does ribbzy still do techno sets?

wouldn`t mind going but none of my mates would be up for it.. wouldn`t mind going when chris liberator or mark tyler were on.

Yeah Ribbz still plays the Acid Techno sets, I f*ckin love Acid!!! Can't wait!! Havent seen Chris Liberator on any flyers lately anyone know when/where he is playing soon?

yep...lakota main room is proper industrial... just right for North.... i love the second room tho as well with the low ceiling and the dj booth made out of breezeblocks!!its where I first saw mark play last July.... absolutely stompin' set, still got the tape!!...... they got a pool table room there now where u can watch huge skinheads who can't even see the table trying crafty shots..... So...who is actually going then?!?!?

Chris Liberator is always good to see... he played at North last year... his sets always get well intense... lakota birthday party 1999 i saw him and i swear my brain turned to liquid!!.... yeah ribbz is always good 2 tho..... plus he's funny on the mic.....

Ribbz is the best mc by far, he takes you through a set rather than just shouting b*llocks over the mic like other mc`s.

listening to a ribbz tape now from norths birthday party earlier this year, plays some brilliant tunes like speedy j ~ krek & bugmod..some glenn wilson stuff aswell.... on the back of the mark eg tape there is a dj called mark anthony playing bangin techno aswell.

Chris Liberator is the friendliest guy in the world who is the most talented/devoted DJ I know and Ribbzy is the god of MC's. There's my two cents :=]
