i did not mind hard house when it came on the scene at first....some really nice tracks and orrigional sound was beeing made, but it went cash based and got cheesy and gay and filled with the same kick drums and full of gay ass samples which destroyed it imo.

It annoys me when hard house lables dig up a classic tune and release it as a "remix" adding complete gayness to it....just hope this isnt the trend now.

i agree there was some great hard house in the mid late ninetees. Stuff from what tony de vit (rip) baby doc and jon the dentist where releasing some superb hard house/trance crossover stuff then.

Hard House sounded very different then to what it is now as it had more trance like riffs in it. But at the time a lot of stuff Tony de vit/Jon the Dentist/baby doc played was called hard house when it was played at the likes of trade in london. Hard trance now is more bass and kick orientated then the classic melodic riffs in trance we all love from the ninetees. But its still classed at hard trance. Even hard house from 2000 has changed imensly from now when it was a lot more bouncy and hoover driven. hard house now has reversed and has more trance elements in it now.
    something for your mind.........

all forms of music has changed i will always stick to the fact that hardhouse is gay, yeah dentist, tony n some doc stuff was bangin stuff. especially dentst n doc, you find there releases alot more underground, phat acid sounds

hardhouse is quite fast if i remmeber, why add trance elements into it when you can just go on a mission producing proper HARDTRANCE back in the day, bring that back instead of makin this special genre a joke
