Does this mean that it wont be making it into your sets untill 2012?

haha.

Yeah. But how many other great records came out around the same time as say Strings etc and dont get half the attention.Future nostalgia and a good feeling as a whole is way better road for techno rather than trying to create/label a few tracks as 'classic'.
2011 more like!

hehe...just kidding...seriously though...i hate to say this, but Bells and Strings are classics in large part because of their popularity and impact...if no one had liked Bells, it would, objectively, still be an amazing track, but it would not be a classic, per se.

trying to anticipate impact is a loser proposition, and making music primarily in order to become popular most often saps productions of quality.

i harp on this a lot here, but i'll say it again...i think if producers just tried to make music rather than create something they've pre-ordained will be hard-techno or electro or funky-acid-schranz-core or whatever, we'd get a lot more quality and a lot less cookie-cutter material. more quality=greater potential for classics to emerge.
