your pic    . sorry dude havnt a clue!!
I'd say so, I've just bought one myself. I was using an imac G3 before and it seems to have made the world of difference. Bloody good value too, but I'd recommend opting for the extra RAM.
if you're going to use a mac mini to produce i suggest getting an external harddrive connected via firewire (an enclosure shouldn't cost you more than $30usd)

i was looking into one of these as well..........they're pretty darn cheap and compact, maybe good for some live pa action
Hmm, I dont see the point once you've bought a moniter/keyboard/mouse/external soundcard/external hardrive! Both in terms of cost and size...
If you want to do live stuff, your probably better saving up and getting a decent laptop.
For home, you cant really beat a decent desktop in terms of cost over power.
;) thanx 4 all replys
But if you already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse...Originally Posted by Apex Beat
A recent edition of SOS did review on the mini mac running logic 7. It performed well. The bloke installed 1GB of RAM into it but this made little difference in performance. But he only ran a few tests, so not complete by any means.
Good review read it if your thinking of getting 1.
ibook has the same specs as the mac mini. it starts at $1000 (mac mini at $500).Originally Posted by Apex Beat
