Anyone ever heard him play? He is capable of producing some pretty hard / twisted stuff...

I love "The Darkness" and I think that he is a part of YOMC... as such I also love "In My Mind". Life On Mars was vert interesting!

    Any thoughts?

well he's a well talented producer, eg yakooza cocaine, that yakooza mix of on the run, 'the big bang' is one of my favourites. but, like hennes and cold did a while ago, he's completely content to totally rinse the f@ck out of the same sound, over and over and over again. i mean his last six or seven (at least) remixes have all had the exact same bassline drop in them, he killed the "bum-titty-bum-titty" bassline (say it out loud at 140 bpm and youll know what i mean) with those two yakooza tracks (cocaine and stronger), but on his new remix (krack that kode, ithink) he's used it AGAIN! its just a shame that someone who can blatantly beat the f#ck out of a lot of the producers out there cant be arsed to program a new b-line. can you imagine if he played a set of all his own stuff? how boring would it be...

I do know what you mean... I must admit there has been a lot of overdose producers using the same library of samples for a bit too long.

One producer I have shudderd at his realises is Pro-Tech, Eww...! - I mean that with no disrespect, just that I personally do not like his stuff.

I was more curious to how he fairs as a Dj? Could be an interesting booking.

In Life On Mars there is a slight variation... it goes "bum-titty-bum-titty-bom-de-de-bom-bom"

    lol...

I see a new future of music reveiws!

    This is my schwarzen puppen..

    "Dee-Dee-Eeerr-Dee-Dee-Eeerr"

(in high pitch, with "Eeerr" going low)

    Interesting stuff.

...yep... i loved the darkness.... but have noticed he has been using it as a blueprint for other tunes like 'life on mars' (or maybe life on mars came 1st).... sometimes i think the yakooza stuff is a bit overly cheesy... sometimes i love it... i did buy cocaine tho and it was shaped like my breakfast bowl so i can't play it... bastard overpriced importers!!
