Anybody going to global gathering this year?

Yep im going, only because my m8's are paying for me as im driving. Not really my sort of thing but there are some names playing i'd like to see, plus lab 4 are playing as well which should be good. Ive never been to a BIG event like this before, i went to gods kitchen in plymouth last year music was ok but didnt go anywhere. Im going to Global gathering with an open mind as I might really enjoy it.

Thats what im like, dont know whether to go because theres not one name that really appeals to me. But all my mates are going, and when i went to the one in 2001 it was a good laugh.

Yeah same here all my mates are going but it seems to hard house/ hard dance for me. I do like hard dance but not a hole night of it with 35,000 people. There are other arenas but none catering for techno or Hard Trance.
I have allready got tickets now, but im only going because all my mates are going & they had such a laugh last time ( & im not paying for the ticket ).
Im going with an open mind as if i say its crap before i go i'll never enjoy it !!

there is gonna be a techno tent there atomic jam was there last year but carl cox is playin this year and so is ritchie hawtin and trevor rockliffe josh wink and more in the global tent.
im goin tho i went last year and i had good time

the atomic jam tent last year was superb... surgeon, derrick may, suburban knight & ben sims were all class, this year looks a bit shit, only dj i would want to see was hawtin, and i`m not even that big a fan of his...the carl cox global tent line up is sh*te, GK wanker promoters just want £££ that`s why atomic jam isn`t there this year...coxy is just a fat cheesey techno plodder, no thanks.
