Mek Music’s 2nd release is certain to rock a couple of dance floors this Summer. Breaking away from the more popular techno elements, Mek Music’s featured artist EMEF shows us what happens when you combine crystal-clear production tactics with a steady, solid groove. “Szub Lysib” is as catchy as it is funky and once you hear it you’ll be singing that melody for the next 48 hours. Minimal techno beats and IDM flavored harmonies intersect at this junction to deliver a beautifully produced single for the coming season.

On the flip side’s “HiFi Mix”, EMEF has put away much of the driving rhythm in favor of a more dubbed-out spacey approach. While retaining much of the original’s harmonic structure and changing the rhythmic elements, this mix is a nice variation for those about to chill.
