I bought loads of software over the years when i had to, I have a registered copy of winzip, I might buy this one when i get round to it.
The thing that interests me is the way in which other compression formats are capable of opening RAR or ZIP files. Is it because copyrighting the codec's is not enforceable? (genuine question...) it just seems strange that they dont give the program a time limit.
or it may be just as a simple as they need to have these versions out there, paid for or not, to control the market.
either way, i havnt got a cracked version and it still works, quite happily. so im happy.
