i dont understand anyone who says they can't stand vocals in trance.

for me it lends itself perfectly to the verse chorus verse format, and the human voice is easily the best instrument ever ever ever. it shits on a virus.
i agree the human voice is a brilliant instrument, but i hate lyrics in trance for the fact that a great deal of it is really predictable and cheesy,.

id love to hear more vocalisations in tracks without words, ahh's / ooh's etc.

but i dont like the words used at all, i think its just the fact there dictating what your thinking about at the time and i feel like im being forced into a certain feel from it were as with a non vocal track it feels more open to listen to, you can perceive it in more ways.

i really like the ayu stuff that has the japanese vocals in it though, i dont know what there saying so im not influenced by the words at all but the tone and accent of the language voce sounds really good with the melody.

just my opinion anyway
I agree. Most lyrics in trance are coated in a thick layer of fromage. All you ever here is stuff like"..flying up to the sky..." and lyrics about "angels" and "...your love is all i need..." blah blah blah etc. CHEESE!

I prefer the odd little vocal snippet to add interest to a track.
