i'll defer judgement until i hear it, but i generally don't think 5.1 is well suited to dj mixes.

i do like amon tobin's 5.1 set, and love hearing abstract music in 5.1 in a theater setting (you ever go to the electronic classical festival at umich, g?)...

...but i think as far as dancefloor techno goes, it's gonna be a gimmick.

but i'm a big enough man to realize i could be absolutely, 100% dead wrong...
