dude why not trust your ears???? listen to those sample CDs and the speculation will be over! dude used alot o the same loops in code red and drumcode, i am just saying that while beyer may have had some rocking tunes, dude never really took any risks with the sounds, the audio content of his records... therefore the scope of "influence" is pretty narrow! its funny to see boxes and boxes of drumcode represses sitting around when i go to japan too, what is it with folks like beyer, andevern the detroit boys for example, who think that tokyo alone can generate sales of 3000 on represses that folks had 2 or 3 years before?! but i got mad respect for submerge selling more than 2000 CDRs(!) of underground mix CDs and albums etc. through japanese mail order! anyway back to the topic, beyer: ikea techno? or "influence" of "no kick techno trance essentials"? ;)
