Green Velvet, aka Cajmere, aka Curtis Jones studied chemical engineering
at the University of Illinois before returning to Chicago in 1991 to
pursue his dream of producing house music. His Cajmere and Dajae
''Brighter Days'' resulted in a No 2 Billboard Dance Chart placing and
the subsequent birth of Cajual Records for 'CAJ's house music
    productions.

In 1993 as an outlet for his darker, more instrumental tracks - Relief
Records was set up and behold the creation of the eccentric,
    experimental wig wearing GREEN VELVET!
''Preacher Man'' was the first, then came the early 90s defining
''Flash'' .The twisted tale that was ''The Stalker'' came next. Moving
on from ''The Stalkers'' dark humour - in 1997 the brilliant ''Answering
Machine'' crossed genres to help set up GVs first studio LP. ''Constant
Chaos'' released on Music Man in 1999. 2001 saw his second LP
''whatever'' which sporned the massive single ''La La Land'' plus
somewhere in between was a compilation LP ''The 90's'' and numerous mix
    CDs.

"I guess it's sorta like folk music for the rave scene." Is what CAJ was
once quoted in an interview when talking about Green Velvet lyrics and
that gives you a taste of the twisted magic to come.
Whether as Cajmere or Green Velvet, his DJ sets and amazing live shows
are always sold out and always a spectacle to behold. Don't miss this
rare and exclusive UK live show in support of the next installment of
Green Velvet LP action! His fantastic new LP 'Walk In Love' on Relief
Records is available from June 14th from the artists website.
