it's all techno, even amok and the rest of those guys will admit it. everyone hates that word. it's the record stores that ****ed it up. schranz was a term used by liebing to describe his early audio and minimal hard techno loop sound. but again i stand by the fact that labels are only good for underwear, so you can write your name on it. that's it.

We've always had some pretty naff names for different genres and sub-genres of electronica.
Hardstyle, Freeform, jump-up, techstep bla bla bla
I could go on forever, it really doesn't matter.
Its a form of music, like it or not some people feel that its something they like to listen to and go mental at a club at. To each his own and what is one man's trash is another man's treasure.
As for the silly name, you can personally call it whatever you want, but it seems like alot of people like the tag 'schranz', even if it is a nonsense word that doesn't really mean anything.
Just go to show you that humanity doesn't always make sense :lol:
