    Default monitors for 80 quid

    Hi there.

reckon you lot could bring your experience to this one...

My mate is after buying a pair of nearfield monitors, either passive or active and he has around 80 squids to lash out.

what's gonna be good for that sort of money? he has a flat response rotel amp for passives.

i suggested a pair of alesis monitor 1s passives..

    any other ideas?

    Nice one folks!

    Dodge.

Aye, i like the absolute 2's good value and loud as ****!

most of them are too far away to travle to see, i did look on SOS, but nothing in that price range was close enough to warrant a trip.

    :)
