a techno sound??

i hear this sound. i cant realy explain it but it sounds smart hear on a couple lables. acid ted does it all the time & i hear in some techno. its kind of a stab. if anyone knos wot im going on about please help. deffo an effect he uses??

yeah ya did dude. i'll hav ta go thru it man. its not so much the stab like its the effect they use wot makes it sound so good. do ya know wot i meen mont. the effect thst acidted uses in all hes traxs?? ;)

its somthing to do with the emu sampler & its fx's & filters i kno they use a emu sampler. a m8 knows him i just fill to much of a dick ta ask

i'll tri find somthing. my soundcards fukt at the mo so i cant record part of a tune. been liking the sound for years so if icant find anything on the net. i will put a snipet of 1 of hes tunes up soon as me soundcards back ;)
