Jose Reina has told Arsenal that Liverpool are the only side he wants to play for next season.
The Gunners were last week reportedly trying to hijack Rafa Benitez's plans to sign the 22-year-old Villarreal man. But the Spanish keeper, currently enjoying a holiday in Ibiza, claims his heart is set on a move to Anfield.
Reina said: "I want to go to Liverpool. It's definitely the best offer of all the ones we've had.
"They are the club that are closest to matching our expectations and we've been talking to them for a long time. To play for the European champions is always going to be exciting because very few people ever manage to do so.
"Next year would be a doubly satisfying one with Liverpool because of the European Super Cup and the World Club Championship.
"I don't know much about the latest developments but I do know I want everything sorted out as soon as possible.
"The thing in football is that deals can break down overnight. That's why I want this resolved so everybody can relax."
