    MORE INFO :::

    Live: Cursor Miner (Combat, Lo Recordings)

    Completely deranged electronic lunatic with the odd occasional punk tendency, Cursor Miner sits alongside Aphex Twin and Ardisson as one of London's mad electronic geniuses par excellence. Originally hailing from Chichester in West Sussex, his unique take on electronic music was first noticed on the Noodles compilation ‘The Complete Death of Cool’. Since his first releases he has gained critical acclaim from publications as diverse as The Times and Muzik and was heavily championed by the late John Peel on Radio One.

    His production approach combines the arrangements and intricancies of glitchy electronica with bass heavy, robotic breakbeats, making his style hard to pin down to any particular genre. Cursor has took his characteristic, dancefloor rocking sound across the UK and beyond, playing at many high profile events including London’s Fabric and Wang and as far afield as Prague and Moscow. In between terrorising dancefloors, Cursor spends his time designing jingles and sound bytes for BBC Radio One's various shows and appears occasionally on Mary-Anne Hobb’s Breezeblock show.

    Live: ScanOne (Combat, Haywire)

    Gritty cinematic breakbeats laced with crisp electronica edits and reinforced with tough as f**k basslines. This is the sound of London based Dj and producer Jude Greenaway, aka Scan One.

    Jude originally learnt his trade in France, establishing himself as a Dj alongside the likes of Roni Size, MixMaster Morris and Laurent Garnier before returning to London and starting collaborating with the world-renowned Light Surgeons, a live visuals crew best known for their installations for record labels, clubs and art exhibitions. An equally accomplished producer, his recent ‘Every Seventh Bullet’ release on the Combat imprint was put out in 2004 to to critical acclaim, receiving Dj support from the London heavyweights including Andrew Weatherall, Radioactive Man and Si Begg.

    Jude has since pushed his characteristic tough breakbeat/electro sound extensively, playing at many high profile events around the world including the opening of the Eyestorm art gallery in New York, Glastonbury, the Onedotzero festival at London’s ICA and Amsterdams notorious Melkweg venue.

    Dj: Stormfield (Combat, Fuel Records)

    Main subverter on Combat and resident for the [AMMUNITION] internet radio show, Stormfield was schooled in the nascent strains of LFO, Aphex Twin, Black Dog and Autechre. Relocating to England from the Far East many years ago, he co-ordinated the Liquid Injured Hearing radio sessions for Fuel Records, and now runs around managing the label whilst finding the time in his busy schedule to regularly smash up various soundsystems in England and abroad.

    Absorbing dark, fierce and strange noises then chopping, mangling and spitting them back out again in danceable form, his laptop-aided freestyle sets blend brutal breakbeats, warped electro and fierce bassbin electronics.
