Default Writing MIDI data from VSTs in Logic

Anyone found a way to do this? I'm running 5.5, can't go higher as I'm on a PC. It would be nice to write out those grooves from Groove Agent without having to leap over to Cubase, bash it down, export, back to logic, import... Yawn...

I want to use a VST which is capable of writing out MIDI - Groove Agent is an example - and write midi data out. To Logic.

I haven't seen a way to to this, so I would be forced to run Cubase, load up the VST, set it up the same, write out the MIDI data, export it, load up Logic, import it and carry on. A bit of a long way to go!
