    yes it was.

"Tomato soup. Mostly because all the spaghetti in the house is that loopy crap that all the kids are into."

perhaps it is just my silly sense of humor, but that was funny.

if its funny then cool, but it wasnt... as dirty said, it was antagonising, and a "clever" reply to the whole McCormack saga no doubt

There was no offense intended. It was just meant to lighten up the mood. Some people @ BOA take themselves and techno waaaaay too seriously.

i admit, i found it funny, especially the loopy spaghetti

but i can see why it was locked, most of us knew it was a joke, because it was plain to see, but it could have easily escalated into a full on argument again

How many Techno enthusiasts does it take to change a lightbulb?

    108...

    1 to change the lightbulb...
1 to complain that the new lightbulb is identical to the last lightbulb...
1 to point out that all the lightbulbs are the same these days...
1 to show everyone else a variety of different lightbulbs in a smug manner...
1 to say that light used to be much better years ago in Detroit...
1 to argue that it's all in a mess because the lightbulb manufacturers keep making the same lighbulbs because that's what sells...
1 person to imply that the Germans will be the death of the lightbulb industry...
100 people to spend the next few months arguing it out on the internet...

and AcidTrash to make a rather witty remark likening lightbulbs to a tinned pasta-in-sauce product.

It's a conservative estimate of lightbulb maintenance resources.

you know, it would be kind of funny to lock this thread and then start a new one about locking the thread about acidtrash's thread being locked...
